About Us

Dr. Jon Sanderson

Dr. Sanderson completed his Undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario with Honours Specialization in Health Sciences in 2012. Dr. Sanderson then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery with Honours at the Schulich School of Dentistry at Western University, graduating in 2016. Dr. Sanderson was fortunate enough to be named his class Valedictorian and was the recipient of several academic awards including the Special Care Dentistry Award and the London District Dental Society scholarship award for clinical and academic excellence. While Dr. Sanderson enjoys all aspects of Dentistry, he particularly enjoys oral surgery and giving his patients a new smile!

Upon graduation, Jon was introduced to Dr Hesham Sherghin. Dr Sherghin quickly became a trusted mentor in the world of dentistry and this mentorship has evolved today into a trusted partnership. This mentorship inspired Dr Sanderson to do the same, leading him back to the Schulich School of Dentistry where he currently serves as a part time faculty member in the Oral Surgery Department. Mentorship has been an immeasurable benefit to Dr Sanderson and he wishes to return that favour to as many colleagues and students as he can. Dr Sanderson is a firm believer in helping each other grow as dental professionals in order to better serve all those in need of dental care.

When he is away from dentistry, Dr. Sanderson is an avid sports fan and participant. In the warmer months, he can be found on a hiking trail with his wife, son and greyhound.
