Dr. Jeff Sumner
Dr. Jeff Sumner graduated from the University of Guelph where he was a President’s Scholar, Canada Scholar and Academic All Canadian Athlete in swimming before moving on to receive his DDS from the University of Toronto in 1997. Jeff's passion for success and excellence has resulted in him growing his once humble practice into one of the most successful practices in the Kitchener/Waterloo region.
Dr. Sumner was one of the early adopters of CAD/CAM technology and believed that it would play a vital role in the future of the profession. He has been a “digital dentist” since 2010, and has since become one of 10 Canadian Cerec mentors. Jeff's clinical artistry with CAD/CAM is showcased internationally and he thrives on sharing how to master efficiency and profitability using the digital workflow.
Over the years, Jeff has taught basic and advanced CEREC training, fully digital implant workflow and clear aligner orthodontics to many dentists across Canada and the US. He is a Key Opinion Leader for numerous dental companies and has lectured at the Pacific Dental Conference, Dentsply Sirona World in Las Vegas and was the keynote speaker at the Chicago Cerec Symposium, all in 2019.
While Jeff continues to practice at his Kitchener office, he currently co-owns multiple practice locations and is a co-founder of Dentistree Academy where he teaches the secrets of predictable, practical and profitable dentistry.
