Surgical Mentorship for the General Practitioner
Day 1 (Didactic and Hands-on)

By understanding the various factors that affect the simplicity or complexity of an extraction, the outcome can be effectively predicted before surgery is initiated.

This course will provide the fundamentals required to understand how to interpret medical, clinical and radiographic information in order to perform oral surgery. Participants will be able to build a solid foundation in order to confidently and efficiently carry out complex extractions and remove impacted wisdom teeth.

Hands on Component will include the following:

  • Incision technique and flap design/reflection
  • Efficient suturing techniques
  • Socket preservation module

This full day course is designed to provide NEW fundamentals to help launch your surgical skills to the next level regardless of your surgical experience. 

Days 2 and 3 (Hands-on Live Surgeries)

Dentistree Academy's Surgical Mentorship is designed to launch your surgical skills to the next level regardless of your surgical experience.

  • Participants will experience One-on-One surgical coaching on their OWN patients during this 2 Full Day Live Surgery experience.
  • Multiple cases (4-6 patients) are strategically selected so that the clinician can build a more solid foundation, continue to be challenged and gain significant confidence in oral surgery (surgical extractions)
  • Cases must be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance and approved prior to the Live Surgery Mentorship. Case selection and criteria details will be provided to all attendees.
  • Participants are encouraged to have their assistants attend this portion of the course to maximize efficiences and workflow in surgery
